Student Music

Student choirs are given a high priority at FBCL. We have two excellent student choirs.

Both student choirs rehearse on Sundays at 5:30 p.m. from September through June. They sing some in the 9:30 Sunday service and also participate in ministry opportunities by singing in nursing homes, prisons, children's homes, etc. in the DFW area. Each choir also goes on a summer choir mission trip.

Priority

Priority is for students in grades 6 through 8. This group is under the direction of Terry Green. Since this choir began in 1997, they have been involved in choir/mission tours in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; San Antonio, Galveston and Corpus Christi, Texas; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Louisiana.

Voice of Praise

Voice of Praise is for students in grades 9 - 12. The choir is directed by Kelvin Reed and has toured and participated in mission endeavors to Seattle, Charleston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Atlanta, San Jose, Phoenix, Philadelphia, Orlando and Detroit.
